About Us

About Us

When a group of friends got together in 2022 with the goal of giving back to society, SatsangYatra was born. A secular, non-profit organization in India is called Satsangyatra India. The group, which was founded in 2022, promotes “the cause and care of older adults who are underprivileged in order to improve their quality of life.” The aged should have the right to live an active, healthy, and respectable life, according to Satsangyatra.

The organization’s programs are concentrated on direct interventions in the fields of health (mobile healthcare units, cataract operations), age care (helplines, senior citizen care homes, and daycare centers, physiotherapy), livelihoods (elder-self-help groups; linkages with government schemes), disaster response (e.g., covid19 relief response), as well as advocacy and awareness on rights and policies relating to elders.

Our Mission

Through relevant education, cutting-edge healthcare, and market-driven livelihood programmes, the Satsang Yatra aims to empower poor children, youth, and women. The goal of the Satsang Yatra is to practise and promote good governance while utilising the best methods and technology to achieve the ideal SROI (social return on investment). linking corporate economic competitiveness with social development activities; promoting civic driven change by raising awareness among privileged children, youth, and citizens in general.

Social Venture Philanthropy

The cutting-edge paradigm of Social Venture Philanthropy (SVP) is founded on the idea of venture capital in the business. In accordance with SVP, Satsang Yatra chooses and carries out its development projects in collaboration with reliable community-based groups. As we work to achieve scalability and sustainability, foster a culture of leadership and quality, and instill a strong sense of accountability within these organizations, we also support them and help them expand their capacity.

Outreach

Under the Outreach approach, SatsangYatra directly puts the development interventions into action because they call for a serious commitment from professionals in order to have a significant impact. Since community-based organizations may not be able to effectively implement such initiatives in remote rural locations, we instead personally carry them out while coordinating with local community stakeholders to maximize the social return on investment.
